Every meaningful movement begins with a belief. For Moquim Foundation, that belief is simple: every individual deserves dignity, opportunity and the chance to live a better life.
The Foundation’s journey was inspired by Dr. Mohammed Nayeem, whose dedication to serving underprivileged communities instilled in his son, Mohd. Moquim, a lasting commitment to community service, public welfare and social responsibility. That legacy became the inspiration behind building an organisation dedicated to creating meaningful and lasting community impact.
Today, Moquim Foundation is a social welfare organization and non profit organization in Odisha, working as a community development non-profit organization and charity organization focused on strengthening underserved communities. Registered at Purighat, Ring Road, Cuttack, the Foundation brings together community welfare, public welfare and sustainable social development through meaningful initiatives, and its work reaches Bhubaneswar as well, where the Odisha Yuva Sansad was held.
A Purpose to Serve. A Commitment to Change.
The work began in 2018, when Mohd. Moquim set out with a simple yet powerful purpose: to stand beside people and communities facing difficult circumstances and help create a life of greater dignity, opportunity and hope. The trust was formally registered on 7 January 2020 before the District Sub-Registrar, Cuttack. What began as a commitment to community service, public welfare and social responsibility has grown into a meaningful journey of creating lasting community impact.
Today, Moquim Foundation works as a community development NGO and charity organization across key areas of social development. From healthcare and education to women empowerment, food support and rural development, our work is focused on addressing essential needs and strengthening underserved communities. Rooted in Cuttack and reaching into Bhubaneswar, we continue to build a more inclusive and compassionate society through purposeful action and sustainable community welfare.

The Foundation holds registration under section 12AB of the Income Tax Act, granted by the Commissioner of Income Tax (Exemption), Hyderabad on 17 January 2026. Approval under section 80G is a separate application and is still in progress, so donations are not yet eligible for a deduction.
