How the Moquim Foundation collects, uses and protects your personal information, under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
The Moquim Foundation respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what you can ask us to do with it. It is written to meet the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
The Foundation is the Data Fiduciary for the information described here. Our registered office is Metro Riverview Complex, Purighat, Ring Road, Cuttack 753002, Odisha. Our PAN is AAGTM7929L.
What we collect, and only this
From a contact or volunteer form: the name, phone number, email address and message you type in. This is sent to our own server, checked there, and written to a private spreadsheet that only the Foundation can open. It is not emailed to anyone else and it is not passed to any third party.
From a donation: your name if you give one, and an email address or phone number, so that a receipt can reach you. We also keep the payment provider's transaction identifier, the amount and the date, because we are required to account for every rupee received.
We never see or store your card number, CVV, PIN, UPI PIN, net banking password or any other payment credential. Those are entered on the payment provider's own secure page. They never pass through this website and are never stored on our systems.
Why we collect it
To reply to your enquiry, to register you as a volunteer, to issue your donation receipt, and to keep the financial records the Income Tax Act requires of a registered trust.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with anyone for marketing. We do not build a profile of you and we do not use your data to train any system.
Consent, and taking it back
We ask for your consent before you submit any form, and we tell you what the data is for at the point we ask. You may withdraw that consent at any time by writing to moquimfoundation.org@gmail.com. Withdrawing consent does not undo anything already done lawfully, and we may still have to keep a donation record for the period tax law requires.
Who else sees it
Razorpay Software Private Limited processes card and UPI payments and holds the payment data under its own policy and its PCI DSS obligations.
Vercel Inc. hosts this website and processes technical request logs.
Google LLC stores what you send through the contact and volunteer forms, and the record of each donation, in a private Google spreadsheet belonging to the Foundation. Only Foundation trustees and staff who need it can open that spreadsheet.
No one else receives your data unless a court or a lawful authority requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiry and volunteer records: kept while the relationship is active, then deleted on request.
Donation and receipt records: kept for eight financial years, which is the period Indian tax law expects a registered trust to be able to produce its books for. This is a legal obligation and sits outside consent.
How it is protected
The site is served only over HTTPS. Form submissions and payment confirmations are verified on our server, never trusted from the browser alone. Keys and secrets are held in environment variables and never in the website code. Access to donation records is limited to the people at the Foundation who need it. Personal data is kept out of our application logs.
Cookies
This site sets no advertising cookies and runs no third-party trackers. If the payment page is opened, Razorpay may set cookies necessary to complete the transaction.
Children
This site is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect the personal data of anyone under eighteen. If you believe a child has given us data, write to us and we will erase it.
Your rights under the DPDP Act
You have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or completed, to have it erased, to nominate someone to exercise these rights if you cannot, and to complain.
Write to moquimfoundation.org@gmail.com or call +91 99370 81575. We will respond within thirty days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Photographs
Photographs on this site were taken at Foundation events in public settings. If you appear in one and would like it removed, write to moquimfoundation.org@gmail.com and we will remove it promptly.
Changes
If this policy changes we will publish the new version here. The version in force is the one on this page.
