Sports & Wellness

Cricket, yoga and public wellness, bringing the district onto the field together.

Sports & Wellness

Sport and wellness bring a district together in a way little else does. The Foundation runs a tennis-ball cricket festival open to anyone, and lays mats across an entire ground each June for International Yoga Day, free and open to all.

The Moquim Foundation Premier League is a tennis-ball cricket tournament run as a mega sports festival, held in January 2026. Teams from across the area competed over several days, with the Foundation providing the ground, the equipment and the organisation.

On International Yoga Day, 21 June 2026, the Foundation laid mats across an entire ground in Cuttack and filled them. Schoolchildren, families, doctors, officials and volunteers came together for one of the district's largest public wellness gatherings, free, open, and organised end to end by the Foundation.

Both events are free to participate in. Neither requires anything of those who turn up except that they turn up.
