What volunteering involves
Most of our work happens on a small number of days. A health camp needs people at registration from seven in the morning. A ration drive needs someone who can drive a pickup. A felicitation ceremony needs people who can manage a hall full of nervous students and their parents.
You do not need a qualification to be useful. You need to turn up on the day you said you would.
What we particularly need
- Doctors and paramedics willing to give a morning to a camp
- Drivers with access to a vehicle during relief drives
- People who can photograph and document what happens
- Anyone comfortable organising crowds and queues
- Odia and English speakers who can help with translation
