World Environment Day Plantation

On World Environment Day, 5 June 2026, Foundation volunteers and local residents gathered on Satyanagar Road in Cuttack to plant saplings.

The photographs, geotagged and timestamped at twenty to ten in the morning, show families, elders and children doing the planting and the watering themselves. That is deliberate, a sapling that somebody's neighbour planted is a sapling that gets watered again next week.

The Foundation's position is that human development is not possible if the environment is kept at stake. Awareness events and plantation drives are how that position gets put into practice.
