Sambardhana Utchab

The Sambardhana Utchab is the Foundation's annual felicitation of the district's best Matriculation students, the top ten, and every student who achieved an A1 grade.

Students arrive with their parents and teachers at a packed auditorium. The ceremony opens with a lamp lighting and an Odissi performance, and each student is called to the stage to receive a trophy and certificate from the hands of the guests.

The standee for the ceremony carries the line: education is the light of life, and the meritorious are the lamps of the future. For many of the students it is the first time their work has been recognised outside their own school.
