On 24 December 2025 the Foundation ran a blanket distribution drive under the banner 'One Step Towards Humanity'.
Volunteers went out after dark, when the people who most need a blanket are easiest to find and hardest to reach. The photographs and films from the drive were shot on the street, at night, as the blankets were handed over.
Winter nights in Cuttack are not severe by northern standards, but for someone sleeping on a pavement they are long.
